Q&A:

  • I did a co-op placement in high school in an inpatient rehabilitation unit in the local hospital. I learned then that I did not want to be a physiotherapist and work with in-patient populations. For me, being in the field and being in the competitive environment was where my true passion lived - but I still really loved the interaction with clients in a clinical setting. For me, AT combined those two things, and allowed me to manage an injury from start to finish.

  • The motion is the lotion - movement is medicine, and moving your body safely and pain free is always better than not moving at all.

  • How effective we are! People are always surprised how educated we are, and how we put all of that knowledge into action!

  • The only non-maritime province I haven't lived in is Saskatchewan. (Raised in Ontario, university in Quebec, university in Manitoba, lived/worked in Alberta and BC)
