Q&A:
Playing college basketball and being plagued with injury after injury lead me to see a lot of different therapists. After feeling frustrated and like I tried everything I finally started to have long-term progress when I was treated by a therapist that looked at the whole body. This was an Athletic Therapist. I pursued Athletic Therapy to allow more individuals that were experiencing chronic pain to benefit from a more whole-body, exercise-based approach. If we can bring an individual with an injury to high-level performance we can definitely help you move better in your day-to-day life.
Pain is a request for change and that often means evaluating your lifestyle. You cannot fully heal in the same environment that caused your concerns.
Athletic Therapists can help with migraines, headaches, nerve pain and more. You don't have to see yourself as an Athlete to see an Athletic Therapist!
