Q&A:

  • Going in to my grade 12 year in high school they started to offer a class called Sports Medicine. Since I was injured quite a but growing up I thought it would be a neat class to take. I instantly knew that I wanted to be an Athletic Therapist after hearing about what the profession was. I love the idea of being a part of a team, even after retiring from sports and being able to help people feel better in the medical field.

  • The core is the foundation of your body, so make sure it works the best it can.

  • The range of what we are able to do in the medical field. We work in so many different areas and a lot of people don't realize all that we can do.

  • Winning the IIHF World Inline hockey Championships with Roller Hockey Canada's mens team.

  • Before having kids I trained for marathons and ultramarathons and hop to get back into it at some point as well.
