Q&A:

  • Becoming an AT was a way that I could remain in the athletic community and a way that I knew I could help athletes achieve their goals to perform at their highest level.

  • My best piece of advice that I say to everyone is that consistency is key; physical activity needs to be a part of your daily life, and when that happens you will reap the benefits for years to come.

  • I think what people find most surprising about AT is the amount of detail in our schooling and the broad range of topics we have studied in that time related to musculoskeletal injury rehab and prevention, exercise prescription, emergency response

  • Seeing an athlete return to their sport after I have spent time helping them return from injury is a great feeling.

  • In 2007 I was the Ontario Lawn Bowls Provincial Champion in the 18 and under division. I went on to place 5th at the National tournament that year.
