• What inspired you to become an Athletic Therapist?:

  After dealing with my own sports injuries in high school from playing soccer. I received regular treatment and post surgical rehab which showed what a career in the field could look like.

• What is the one piece of advice you give every client that you wish everyone knew?:

  Rehab is not the same for everyone. All athletes and clients will progress differently and recover at different rates so they need to stay consistent and put in the work at home as well.

• What do people find most surprising about AT?:

  That we have many skills especially manual treatment skills, and we work in a variety of settings.

• Describe your proudest moment or greatest success as an AT:

  Seeing my athletes and clients get back to the activities they love.

  Also witnessing a client become the World Champion of Irish Dance in Glasgow, Scotland after working together consistently for 3 years to rehab her broken back.

• Share a little known fun fact about yourself or some interesting trivia about your life.:

  I love to travel and have been to 15 countries.
